The leaves of Spathiphyllum are very green and attractive, but the fatal injury of this foliage plant is that the leaves are yellow and drooping. There are many reasons for the drooping and yellowness of the leaves of Anthurium palmatum. Generally speaking, it can be divided into four aspects: excessive watering, inappropriate soil, slow seedling and unsuitable growing environment.
The phenomenon of leaf softening and drooping caused by over watering is not suitable for over watering at ordinary times. The over wet soil is easy to accumulate water and cause root rot and leaf drooping.
I believe that many flower friends know the saying "don't dry, don't water". The watering of Spathiphyllum should also follow this principle, watering after the soil is dry. Pay attention to the water temperature not too low when watering.

For a long time, the soil plate is hard and impervious, and the water after pouring cannot penetrate into the soil layer, which results in most roots unable to absorb water and nutrients, and the yellow leaves will droop and become soft after losing water and nutrients.
When raising Spathiphyllum in the family, we should loosen the soil and change the basin at the right time, and check the soil condition in early spring every year. If there are more lumps, it is suggested to disperse them and dry them in the sun before replanting. When planting, half of the old soil should be poured out and replaced with loose soil, which is conducive to the growth of root system. During normal maintenance, loosen the soil once half a year to increase the oxygen content in the soil.
Most of the Spathiphyllums in the family are purchased directly from the flower market. You should know that most of the flowers in the flower market grow in greenhouse. The environment will change when moved to the family. If the plants are not fully adapted, they will be wilted easily if they are directly maintained in the sun.
The newly purchased Spathiphyllum should be placed in a cool and ventilated place with scattered light and watered properly. One week later, it will be transferred to normal maintenance.

Although the growth temperature of Spathiphyllum is between 5-30 ℃, the low temperature has certain influence on its growth, and the humidity is also an important factor. In the dry and cold winter conditions, it is easy to produce drooping leaves.
In winter, the indoor is dry, the ventilation is not good, and the leaves will droop when losing water. In addition, if the potted plant is placed in a place with low temperature and small space, the leaves are easy to turn yellow.
After falling into the autumn, the temperature will decrease, and the plants will be moved to indoor maintenance. Attention should be paid to increasing air humidity, spraying the plants around every day, and wiping the leaves with cotton cloth on 2~3 days. Properly control the water and keep the basin soil moist.
