Black spot: can cause the leaf of the plant to appear black spot or black powdery mildew layer. After the disease, the plants can be sprayed with carbendazim or thiophanate methyl. Melasma: the disease usually occurs at the tip or edge of the leaf. It can be sprayed with Benazolin, carbendazim or thiophanate methyl.

I. witches' broom

1. Symptoms: the disease is characterized by large germination of axillary buds and adventitious buds, and stagnation of growth of main shoots. The diseased twigs sprout, and the base of the new twigs is swollen and reddish. The twigs will die in winter, and more twigs will be produced next year. This happens again and again, and eventually the whole plant dies.

2. Prevention and treatment methods: the diseased branches should be cut off and destroyed in time. We also need to use tetracycline and other antibiotics for prevention and treatment. Use syringes to slowly inject tetracycline or oxytetracycline solution. Generally, the dosage of each strain is 30-50ML.

II. Black spot

1. Symptoms: the disease occurs at the edge or middle of the leaf, presenting semicircle or circle. In the early stage, several lesions were connected and corrugated. In the later stage, the spots will produce black powdery mildew layer. It usually occurs on the overwintering leaves.

2. Control method: spray the plants with 500 times of carbendazim 50% or 600 times of thiophanate methyl.

3. Brown spot

1. Symptoms: in the early stage of the disease, there will be small purple red spots on the tip or edge of the leaves, which will expand to form various shapes of whorled spots. In the later stage, the center of the lesion receded to white and the edge became reddish brown and widened. When the humidity is high, the gray brown mold layer may grow on both sides of the lesion.

2. Prevention and control methods: when the diseased leaves are found, they need to be removed immediately and burned intensively to reduce the source of bacteria. In the early stage of the disease, Benazolin, carbendazim or thiophanate methyl can be sprayed for control. Spray once every 10 days or so, a total of 2-3 times can be cured.
