There are four kinds of yellow leaves in Ranunculus japonicus: water yellow, fertilizer yellow, drought yellow and alkali yellow. If the water is yellow, we need to control the watering and move it to a cool place; if it is fat yellow, we need to wash off the flowers and fertilizer with water; if it is dry yellow, we need to make up water in time; if it is alkali yellow, we need to add some vinegar to it.

1. Water yellow

To put it bluntly, this is that we water a lot of water, which causes the soil to accumulate water for a long time, poor air permeability, and rotten roots. Generally speaking, the tender leaves are dim, and there is no luster, and the new shoots gradually shrink.

Solution: usually at this time, we should control the water volume, move it to a cool place, or take it out of the basin and dry it before putting it in

2. Fat yellow

If we put too much fertilizer on it, its old leaves will slowly wither and turn yellow. The new leaves will be fat but will not spread out.

Solution: if so, we can sprinkle cabbage or radish seeds on it, and when it grows seedlings, it can consume its nutrients. Or we can wash the fertilizer away with water. In fact, the fertilizer we applied to it can also be well controlled, generally using dolomite and so on will be very good

3. Dry yellow

This is mainly because there is little water, or it is dehydrated seriously. Generally, the new leaf color is very normal, but the leaves will gradually turn yellow and fall off when walking up.

Solution: we need to water it directly to solve this problem. Of course, we need to control the quantity, not too much, otherwise it will cause other problems.

4. Alkali yellow

Because it is more like acid soil, but because in the north water is slightly alkaline, so the leaves may turn yellow

Solution: at this time, we need to change the water for it. Generally, we can use rice washing water or rainwater after fermentation. Of course, we can also add some vinegar to the water, so that it can grow better, and the leaves will not be like this.
