The Dragon spits its pearls and rejoices in the light. The maintenance of it needs to provide sufficient light to ensure its normal growth and development. But in summer, the temperature is high and the light is strong. It needs to be placed in a cool place and can not be directly exposed to the sun.
It likes soft and permeable neutral weak acid soil. It can be planted in sandy soil rich in organic matter and easy to drain, and bone meal or cake residue can be added as the base fertilizer.
The most suitable temperature for its growth is 18-24 ℃. The temperature of growth in winter should not be lower than 8 ℃, or it may cause the plant to fall. Its growth period temperature can be over 30 ℃, as long as the water supply is sufficient, it can still grow normally. The temperature of florescence should be kept at about 17 ℃.
It likes a warm and humid environment, and keeps the soil moist during its growth period. But watering can't be too much, too much water will cause only long vines and no flowers, and even make leaves wither and roots rot and die. In the high temperature season of summer, it should be fully watered and properly shaded. In winter, water should be reduced to ensure its safe winter.
It should not be fertilized too much. It should be thin and applied frequently. In spring and autumn, fertilizer is applied once a half month, and the retting cake fertilizer water and potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution can be applied alternately. It's better not to apply fertilizer in summer and winter.
