Just after summer, are you ready to change pots and soil? Ah ~ it's the most tiring time of the year. It's a good thing to say that flowerpots are the ones that change back and forth. It costs money to spend soil. There are too many flowers at home. It's a pity that the old soil is thrown away. It's too painful to buy new soil. It's better to make a big transformation of the old soil. You can raise flowers again and again with some materials!

Pine needles, bark, rotten leaves

Generally, the flower soil has been used for about a year, especially for the flower friends in the north. The soil and water are alkaline. The old flower soil can be mixed with pine needles, dried leaves, pine bark, pine tower and other things. It's all available for climbing a mountain in autumn.

Mix the old flower soil with these leaves and bark, sprinkle some carbendazim (or sterilize it after retting), put it in a bag and seal it. It will be almost rotten in 2-3 months. Open it to see the color of the soil becomes darker. If the leaves and bark are rotten, retting will be done.

Rotten leaf soil is suitable for most of the acid loving flowers, such as rose, hydrangea, bougainvillea, gardenia, jasmine, orchid, camellia, Rhododendron, etc., which can be used.

Chen sesame, rotten millet

The fertility of the old flower soil is small. It can be mixed with sesame, walnuts, expired soybeans, millet and so on. It can also be mixed with corn flour. The dregs from the soymilk machine and the dregs from the oil press can also be used.

Here, it should be noted that sesame, millet and corn flour can be fried, soybeans can be boiled, and the dregs after juicing and oil pressing can be used directly, which can accelerate the decay and shorten the time.

Find a foam box, put the old flowers first, then put them on top, then cover a layer of old soil. Until the finish is done, you can mix well, and finally cover the lid for 2-3 months.

The soil fertility of this transformation is very strong, and it is suitable for Clivia, rose, camellia, triangle plum, Epiphyllum The flowers raised are oily and slippery, especially strong.

Fruit peel

In addition to adding "acid" to the old soil with leaves and bark, there is also a quick way to use the fruit skin. Collect the watermelon skin and grape skin you have eaten recently.

The rot speed of the peel is fast, and it's relatively large and thick. It's suggested to chop some of the peel first, prepare a box, put the old flower soil first, then put the peel to pieces, and then put a layer of soil Finally, cover it, retting it for about 2 months, and sprinkle some carbendazim before use.

Peel soil belongs to acid soil, suitable for most of the acid loving flowers, such as rose, triangle plum, gardenia, hydrangea, jasmine, orchid, Money Tree, emerald tree, Aglaia odorata, brandy, azalea, etc.

Bone dregs, seafood shell

If you keep flowers that don't like to bloom, you can try to make some bone meal. You can eat the remaining bones at ordinary times, especially the fish bones, shrimp shells and crab shells. It's very simple and environmentally friendly.

First wash the bones or seafood shells with water for several times, or boil them with water, blanch them to remove the salty taste, and then dry them in the sun, or dry them with a pan Kang, put them in a bag and crush them or beat them into powder with a powder beater.

After beating the powder, mix it in the old flower soil, wet it with hot water, put it in a bag or box and retouch it for 1 month. It's suitable for all kinds of flowering plants.

Earthworm manure, chicken and sheep manure, rabbit manure

If some "organic" fertilizer can be added to the old flower soil, of course, it is the best. In summer and autumn, the most outside is earthworm manure. There is no peculiar smell in the small soil pimple, and the flowers are very clean.

If possible, chicken manure, cattle and sheep manure, rabbit manure are also very good, dog manure is basically not fertile (refer to the dried dog Baba turns white), cat manure should not be used as much as possible, with a pungent smell!

Mix the animal manure with the old soil, wet it with hot water (it will smell, it is recommended to operate outdoors), and then seal it for 3-4 months. After retting, the soil will turn dark, mix with carbendazim, or wet it with potassium permanganate for sterilization.

Fecal soil is very fertile, suitable for flowering and fruiting plants, such as rose, longevity flower, triangle plum, clematis, geranium, tiger bayberry, pomegranate, figs and so on.

Peanut shell, Chinese medicine residue

Now is the mature season of peanuts. Don't throw away the peanuts after eating. When mixed with the hardened flower soil, it's a loose and breathable fiber soil. It's not easy for flowers to rot. Besides peanut shell, Chinese medicine dregs are OK.

Dry or boil the peanut shell (preferably salt-free), leave the residue of traditional Chinese medicine untreated, and mix these things with the old flower soil directly. After being wet with hot water, retouch in a stuffy way. About 2 months later, the peanut shell is only a little flocculent.

This kind of soil is suitable for raising all kinds of orchids, succulent, Florist Kalanchoe, cacti, Christmas Cactuss, snake plants, Adenium obesum, geraniums, Florist Kalanchoe and other flowers that are easy to rot because of watering.
