Alum root is not only cold resistant, but also very fond of shade and drought resistance. It does not have high requirements for light. It can only be watered occasionally, and it does not need to worry about management at all. After planting, it is just waiting for the appreciation of beauty!

1. First open the package to let the leaves ventilate, remove the damaged and yellow leaves and reduce the water evaporation.
2. Find a small flowerpot, and put some pebbles on the bottom of the basin as the drainage layer, so the soil will use the general nutrient soil.
3. First lay a layer of soil in the flowerpot, then hold the plant with one hand and fill it with soil with the other hand. Three young seedlings can be planted in one flowerpot; fill the flowerpot with soil and root system tightly.
4. Immediately pour water into the basin and put it in a well ventilated place. Don't bask in the sun immediately, and water when the soil is dry.

Alum root is relatively drought resistant. If the permeability of basin soil is poor, watering should not be too frequent. If the basin soil is completely dry at 3cm below the basin surface, watering can be done; if the permeability of basin soil is good, the surface soil is dry.
Alum root likes light, but it can endure half shade. It can be planted under trees, flower beds, wall roots and other shady places. Potted plants can be placed on the balcony and windowsill with sufficient light. In summer, pay attention to shade and ventilation.
Alum root need not high fertilizer, growth peak period, every two weeks to irrigate a general nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium compound fertilizer, high temperature and low temperature environment do not apply fertilizer.
If you plant alum roots in the ground, you don't need to worry about them in winter, and the leaves will wither, but they can sprout again when the weather is warm in spring. If the temperature of potted plants drops to - 10 ℃, you'd better move them into the room for cultivation.
In summer, the root of alum is not resistant to high temperature. Put the flowerpot under the North windowsill or wall root that can't be exposed to the sun. Don't touch the direct light, and increase the ventilation as much as possible.
