Bamboo is evergreen in all seasons. If the maintenance method is proper, the environment is suitable, even in cold winter, the color is dark green. Its leaf tip area is small, and there is a waxy protective layer, so it is not easy to lose water, and it will not lose leaves or turn yellow in winter. However, if the method is improper, the low temperature environment in winter will easily lead to yellowing.
1. Proper watering: during the maintenance period, water shortage or too much watering will cause the leaves to turn yellow if the soil is too wet. The water shall be controlled or replenished according to the situation. If there is a shortage of water, it should be watered in time to moisten the soil as soon as possible. If the water should take off the basin, wait for the soil to dry and put it in the basin.
2. Supplementary light: the light in winter is mild, and it should be put in a place with good light as much as possible to let it bask in the sun, which is more conducive to winter. If the long-term absence of light, coupled with low-temperature environment is easy to appear yellow
3. Increase the temperature: the cold resistance of bamboo is relatively poor, so pay attention to temperature control in winter. If the temperature is lower than 5 ℃, the leaves will be easily frostbitten and yellow. Therefore, it is better to raise the temperature and give it a suitable winter environment, so that the leaves will be green
