The root distribution of shallot is shallow, the water requirement is less than that of shallot, but it is not drought resistant. The suitable soil humidity is 70% - 80%, and the suitable air humidity is 60% - 70%.
Medium intensity is required for light conditions. Under strong light conditions, tissues are easy to age, fibers increase and quality becomes poor. Some flower friends put it in the direct sunlight, which is not appropriate, and can be properly shaded.
The planting soil of shallot is suitable for loam which is loose, fertile, convenient for drainage and watering. It needs balanced supply of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and trace elements. Soil microelements are not balanced, they will grow slowly and leaves are rare.
Appropriate fertilization can be done. When applying fertilizer, attention should be paid not to touch the stems and leaves to avoid burning the seedlings.
The suitable temperature for the growth of stem and leaf of shallot is 18-23 ℃, the suitable ground temperature for the growth of root is 14-18 ℃, and the growth speed is slow above 28 ℃. It can be adjusted according to the local temperature. If it is too hot, it will be moved to a cool place. If it is too cold, it will be moved to a warm place.
