Longan grows from the southwest to the southeast of China. It grows most vigorously in Guangdong and Fujian. It is a subtropical fruit tree, which also grows in Yunnan, Guangxi and other places in China. In addition, it is widely cultivated in Southeast Asia and southern Asia.
