Wintersweet can be sown in spring or autumn. When sowing in spring, the seeds should be soaked in warm water and treated with germination, so that they can emerge in about a month. Its seeds can be harvested in July and August, so they are usually fresh seeds when planted in autumn, and they will emerge in about ten days after planting.
If you plant fresh seeds, poke a small hole directly in the surface of the soil and put them in. After covering with a thin layer of soil, and timely watering a permeable, germination soon, some a week can see the growth of seedlings.
If dry seeds are used, they should be soaked in warm water for about a day, and the floating seeds should be thrown away, leaving the sinking ones, and the floating germs have not developed well, even if they are planted, they will not germinate. The planting method is the same as the above method, but it takes a long time to sprout. You have to wait patiently. Usually it takes about one month, but it also takes more than two months to sprout.
