There are many trees that can graft roses. Many plants belonging to Rosa can be used for grafting. Among them, the wild rose uses more, in addition to it, like the Japanese thorn free rose, the Dutch rose, the pink rose, the woody rose, the big leaf rose and other trees, are also very good rootstocks.
1. Time selection: grafting should be carried out in the first ten days of March. In addition, grafting can also be carried out in July and September. In these time periods, the climate is suitable and the survival rate of bud grafting is relatively high.
2. Treatment of rootstock: select the branches with good growth on healthy plants as rootstock, and cut a T-shaped interface between its two bud points
3. Treatment of scion: cut a section of scion with bud point from other plants. Then cut off the bud point about 0.5cm above the bud point. Then use a knife to cut the xylem off.
4. Grafting: insert the treated bud point directly into the "t" shaped interface of the rootstock, and let the outer skin of the rootstock tighten the bud point. Prepare some more plastic ropes and tie them tightly.
