When curing and watering, you can observe the surface of the lower basin soil before pouring. If the surface is dry, but the bottom soil is still wet by hand, you don't need to pour it in a hurry, but if the bottom soil is also dry, you should make up water in time.
If there is a lack of water during the maintenance period, the leaves will wilt and not firm, which indicates the need for water supplement. If the leaves are in good condition, the color is green and straight, it proves that the water in the soil is sufficient and does not need to be watered.
If the chopsticks are still dry, or the soil is dry, it can be proved that watering is necessary. If chopsticks are still very wet, you can wait a few days to make up water.
Besides observation, you can also listen to the sound. Knock the outer wall of the flowerpot with hands or sticks. If the sound is stuffy, it proves that there is a lot of water in it. If the sound is very crisp, it means that the evaporation is over, and water needs to be replenished.
