First prepare a flower pot of moderate size. Then prepare the matrix, which can be made of peat soil, perlite and ceramsite. Then take out the plant from the basin, pay attention not to damage the root, take out and trim the root system. Finally, put a part of the substrate into the basin, then put the plant and fill in the remaining substrate, and then compact the soil surface by hand and water it.

Transplantation is sometimes a necessary step. For example, if a plant gets sick due to a certain disease or insect pest, the soil and basin must be replaced and transplanted. For example, plants need to be replaced regularly, in addition to the soil needs to be replaced, if the size of the basin is not appropriate, even a basin needs to be replaced, this time also needs to be transplanted.

2. Transplant method

1. Prepare the flowerpot: according to the specific size of the plant, choose a basin of moderate size, so that the plant has a proper living space and good growth.

2. Preparation of matrix: the matrix with permeability, nutrition and easy drainage shall be used. For example, can use peat soil, perlite, ceramsite, according to 2:2:1 ratio to prepare

3. Plant debasing: after the flowerpot and substrate are ready, the plant can be taken out of the original basin. Be careful not to damage its roots in the process. Then, the soil at its root shall be removed. For the plants infected by diseases and insects, the soil must be removed without any residue; for the plants simply changing pots, this part of soil can be retained. After cleaning, the roots should be pruned, and the old and bad roots should be cut off.

4. Transplantation: put a part of matrix into the basin first, with a depth of about 2-3cm. After that, put the plant in, fill in the remaining matrix, and flatten it by hand. Then pour water, put it in the shade, and cure it slowly.
