There are three kinds of propagation methods, namely, sowing and cutting. Generally speaking, the most familiar method is seeding. Let's study separately.
Sowing and propagation are often carried out in summer. The seed and substrate should be treated before sowing. The substrate should be disinfected to achieve the effect of killing pests and diseases. The seeds should be soaked in warm water for 3-10 hours, depending on the situation, as long as the seeds expand. Some seeds are relatively small and difficult to be sown by hand. They can be placed on the surface of the substrate with tweezers. After all seeds are sown, a layer of substrate, about one centimeter thick, should be attached.
After sowing, you can choose to spray the substrate gently, so that the seeds can be washed out because of the excessive watering. Finally, cover the film. After sowing, when the seedlings are unearthed, the film should be uncovered, and the seedlings should be exposed to light at a fixed time. Pay attention to avoid strong light, for example, they can receive light before nine o'clock.
Cutting propagation is also a relatively simple method of propagation. Cutting materials to be selected are called cuttings. Cuttings usually choose top shoots with good growth and no pests. The cutting temperature should be kept between 18 ℃ and 25 ℃. Cutting should pay attention to disinfection, if the temperature is too high, it is easy to cause cutting infection. At the same time, in case of low temperature climate, it can be covered with film to improve the ambient temperature. Shade is also necessary, to cover more than half of the sun
After sowing and propagation, it is necessary to remove the film and give proper light to the seedlings after they are unearthed. The time of light giving should avoid the period of strong light at noon. Generally, it should be put in the shade before 9 a.m. and after 3 p.m. After the seedlings grow one after another, we should do proper thinning, that is, pull out the seedlings with poor growth, leave growth space and sufficient water and nutrients for the growing seedlings.
When cutting, it is necessary to control the temperature. Too low temperature is not conducive to the growth and survival of cuttings. Too high temperature will lead to infection of bacteria in the cuttings. After cutting, we also need to do proper shading, about shading effect to be more than half, when the temperature is high, we need to increase the number of water spray
