This is a method often used in China. In that way, branches can grow into trees. There are two ways to do this. The first is to bury the small plants you want to plant in 30-50 cm of soil in autumn or early spring, so as to grow new roots. Generally a big tree can be divided into five to ten small trees.
Another way is in July and August, select the branches close to the ground on the tree, put it horizontally into the ditch, and then bury it with soil, until it takes root.
