The grafting time of orange trees is generally in spring, usually before or just after germination. If the buds have grown and the length is more than 1 cm, the success rate of grafting will be greatly reduced. At the same time, it should not be carried out in rainy days, rain is easy to breed bacteria, so that it does not survive.

Select some branches of orange tree, cut off the buds on the branches, and retain some xylem. When cutting, you should leave a bevel, which is convenient to fit with the rootstock and more conducive to growth.

In addition to the selection of the rootstock, it can also be grafted with citrus aurantium, orange and other fruit trees. Saw out a cross section of the anvil, and then cut a gap between the bark and the xylem with a knife.

Insert the cut side of the bud close to the xylem of the rootstock. After fitting the two, bind them with film to avoid loosening and falling off the buds. Wrap the top of the Rootstock to prevent it from drying out, leading to graft failure.
