Put the plants that need to be replaced on the ground first, pat the sides of the basin gently with the palm to gradually separate the root system and the basin wall, then turn the flowerpot upside down and put it on the left hand, at the same time, clamp the bamboo and cypress plants gently with the index finger and the middle finger, hold the wrist and the fingertip against the basin edge, pat the basin bottom with the right hand, top the root soil with the thumb from the bottom hole, so that the plants can come out. After the plant comes out, pat the basin soil gently with both hands to make the extra soil fall off.
When the plant grows larger and larger, we need to change pots to promote its continued vigorous growth. It is suitable to choose vegetable garden soil and slag mixed in the proportion of 3:1, or use paddy soil, saprophytic soil and pond mud.
When going to the basin, first put a 2-3cm thick coarse-grained substrate at the bottom of the basin as the filter layer, and then spread a layer of fully mature organic fertilizer on it as the base fertilizer, with a thickness of about 1-2cm, then cover the thin-layer substrate, with a thickness of 1-2cm, and finally put the bamboo and cypress plants in, which is to separate the fertilizer from the root system, so as to avoid the root burning caused by direct contact.
