In spring, when my temperature is stable at 10 ℃, I can start watering, and change the basin once a year. When taking off the basin, take care not to hurt the root system. After taking off the basin, cut off dead and disease and insect roots, and plant in a cool place for 3-5 days.
Do not water for a while after changing the basin. Spray 2~3 times a day and place it in a humid place. Half a month later, the peony flower can grow normally and can be watered a little. After one month, it will grow new roots and gradually increase the amount of watering.
In summer, the temperature is better and the sunlight is stronger. Put the plant in the place with sunshine in the morning and evening for maintenance, and avoid the strong light at noon. At the end of summer, when it is gradually cool, move the plant to a sunny place for maintenance.
In summer, it is necessary to ensure that the water is sufficient and wet when watering. Spray water around the plant for many times every day, cool down and ventilate frequently to avoid too hot and sultry environment.
In autumn, the red peony should be placed in a place with sufficient sunshine and rain to keep it dry. After the weather turns cool, gradually reduce the watering and let the plant slowly immerse in the dormancy state.
When the outside temperature drops to 10 ℃, the plants should be moved to a warm place for maintenance in time, and the balconies or indoors with light should be closed.
Peony flowers are not cold resistant. The indoor temperature in winter should be controlled above 10 ℃, which can be around 0 ℃. In areas with high temperature in winter, outdoor maintenance shall pay attention to heat preservation.
The peony will enter the dormancy period in winter, and the potted plant will be placed in a sunny place to accumulate nutrients for photosynthesis and prepare for the next year's flowering. During this period, pay attention to water control. The lower the temperature is, the drier the basin soil will be.
