Sowing and propagation: select the plum blossom fruit first, water it thoroughly after planting, and transplant when the young seedling grows to 10-15cm. Grafting propagation: select the rootstock for branch grafting first, insert it tightly with the cuttings, and tie it well. Bud grafting cut the bud into shields, insert the pre carved T-shape, and tie it tightly. Cuttage Propagation: select cuttings, treat with rooting agent, and then insert them into the soil.

1. Sowing and breeding

In this method, the first choice is to select the fruit that is mature enough, the best fruit is big and small, generally speaking, it is best in autumn, and the time should be around the end of September. After planting, water it thoroughly and cover it with a thin layer of fine sand. The next spring it will grow seedlings, and when the seedlings grow to about 10 to 15 cm, they can be transplanted

If you want to choose to sow in spring, you should first dry the seeds collected and then store them in wet sand, and then take them out in early spring for early sowing.

2. Grafting propagation

This method is usually carried out in early spring, i.e. branch grafting or bud grafting.

If you adopt branch grafting, you should first choose the right rootstock, usually peach tree and apricot tree, but plum tree is the best. For lapping, cut the upper part of the rootstock and the lower part of the cuttings into the shape of a horse's ear with a sterilized sharp knife, align the green skin layer, and tie the areas where the two meet tightly. In addition to lapping, we can also adopt the splicing method. If splicing, we should cut the hardwood from the middle, make the cuttings into wedges, and then insert the cuttings into the hardwood, align and bind the green skin layer.

If you want to bud, you can carve a T-shape at the stem base of the selected sapwood that can reach the xylem, cut the bud to be propagated into a shield shape, open the epidermis and insert it into the T-shape quickly, then tie it tightly immediately, and then after 15 to 20 days, the wound can be loosened after healing.

3. Cuttage Propagation

Select good cuttings, generally select the annual robust branches, the length is best controlled at 10 to 20cm, after treatment with rooting agent, bury most of it in the soil, only leave 2 to 3cm on the soil surface, and it is best to leave a bud on it. For the soil, the best choice is loose, the best time is in November, this time not more leaves, can provide nutrients for the cuttings in time
