Before sowing, the seeds should be selected and dried and rotten seeds should be jumped out. This step is directly related to the success of sowing. Mainly according to the following three methods:
① select the seeds of the year, because the longer the storage time is, the lower the germination rate is.
(2) select a large and full seed without any defect or deformity.
(3) select the seeds that are not eaten by pests.
The disinfection here includes two aspects. One is to disinfect the seeds, immerse the seeds in 60 ℃ hot water for 15 minutes, and then put them in warm water for 12-24 hours. Second, disinfect the sown soil. The best way is to fry it in a hot pot, then soak it in potassium permanganate solution and dry it.
Soak the seeds in warm water for 12-24 hours, until the seeds are slightly swollen by water absorption, and then pull out and dry them before sowing.
Clamp the seeds with tweezers, and put them into the soil one by one, with a spacing of about 1cm, and cover them with a thin soil of 2-3cm.
After sowing, put the flowerpot in the water, the depth of the water is 1 /2 ~ 2 /3 of the height of the flowerpot. Let the water slowly soak the soil.
Spray the surface of the basin soil wet, after the basin soil slightly dry can spray water, pay attention to the intensity of watering should not be too big, so that the seeds will be washed up.
There is no strict limit on the sowing time of two-color jasmine. It can be sown in late autumn, early spring or winter. Therefore, in case of low temperature and dry weather after sowing, the whole flowerpot should be wrapped with plastic film to keep the temperature and moisture and promote seed germination.
After the young seedlings grow out, remove the film in time. Before 9 a.m. and after 3 p.m. every day, let the seedlings fully receive the sunlight, so as to prevent the seedlings from growing thin and weak.
In addition, when there are seedlings growing to a certain time, it is necessary to carry out seedling thinning, and pull out the thin seedlings from the roots, so as to save nutrients for the healthy seedlings.
