Autumn is the season when Magnolia seeds mature. At this time, you can pick the seeds. If you can't sow them immediately, you can store them in the sand and plant them in the next spring. Because the seed is rich in oil, so it can't be stored in summer, otherwise the survival rate will be affected.
Remove the outer shell of the seed, and then soak it in water for about two days. Soak it in warm water, then rub the outer seed coat away, take out the inner seed, and put it outside to dry.
Planting soil has certain requirements, need to face the sun, can contact with certain light, also need to ensure good drainage, before sowing to loosen the soil, to ensure that the soil is soft, so it is conducive to seed germination.
When the soil is ready, the seeds are sown down to a depth of about 2cm, covered with a thin layer of soil. The seedlings should be shaded in time after growing, do not touch the strong sunlight first, to prevent being burned to death.
When the seedlings are stable, they can be transplanted. Select the transplanting location, dig out the soil pit with a diameter of about 1 m, and ensure the depth of more than 50 cm. Fill the base fertilizer at the bottom, and then transplant the seedlings with soil balls.
