Seed planting method of Cyclamen

Cyclamen seeds should be planted from September to October, and the temperature should be controlled at 18-20 ℃. The seeds were first soaked in warm water for 2-3 hours, and then seeded in a pot with a seed spacing of 1.5-2CM. Then the pot was placed on a tray filled with water and soaked with water. After germination, the seeds should be placed in a ventilated and sunny place. After 10-11 weeks, they can be transplanted and fertilized properly.

I. planting conditions

① time: it is better to plant from September to October in autumn.

② soil: loam, rotten leaf soil and river sand are mixed in equal amount.

③ temperature: 18-20 ℃.

II. Planting method

1. Pretreatment: before sowing, soak the seeds in cold water for one day or two to three hours in warm water of about 30 ℃, and then seeds can be seeded after germination.

2. Planting steps:

① sowing: first select a shallow basin or box with a small hole at the bottom, sow the seeds in the container at a distance of 1.5-2CM, and then lay a layer of 0.5-1cm thin soil.

② water absorption: place the flowerpot on the tray, add water to the tray, and cover the top of the container with a glass cover after soaking in the water by this way of sitting on the tray.

③ germination: after germination for about 30-40 days, remove the glass cover in time, and place the plant in a sunny and ventilated environment.

④ transplanting: after 10-11 weeks, transfer the small plants to the soil with good air permeability, so that the root system is just covered by the soil, the small bulbs are exposed, and appropriate nitrogen fertilizer is applied.

III. maintenance points

The soil should be kept moist, but the roots should not accumulate water.
