The first step of cutting is to select leaves. Select some stronger leaves, so it is easier to root. Cut the leaves into 5 cm long segments and put them in the shade for a few days until the leaves curl slightly.
The suitable soil can also make the rooting speed faster. It is better to choose sandy soil with better drainage, because the soil is too sticky, which will make it difficult to take root. In addition, you can use broken tiles and coarse sand on the bottom pad to strengthen its drainage capacity.
Cutting time requirements are not big, as long as it is not winter. Put the rooting powder on the bottom of the dried leaves, and then insert it into the pot soil, with a depth of about 3-4cm. Be careful not to insert it backwards, otherwise it will not survive. After cutting, water once and put it in a cool and ventilated place.
Good maintenance can make it recover faster. The temperature of the environment should be kept between 15-25 ℃, and the water should not be too much at ordinary times. Keep the basin soil slightly moist, and there should be no water. At this time, it is not suitable to apply fertilizer to avoid damage to the bottom. Generally a month or so will take root.
