Time selection: in this way, we usually choose to sow from March to April.
Seed collection: this plant usually takes 25 to 30 days from flowering to seed maturity. The seeds we collect are mainly its achenes. When they are fully mature, they will appear dark brown, which is easier to fall out of the fruit plate. After meeting this standard, we can collect them in time.
Sowing and temperature control: the mode selection is flexible, which can be spread or drill. After sowing the seeds evenly, we still need to control the temperature. In general, it is suitable to control the temperature above 15 ℃. If it can reach 20 to 25 degrees, then wait about four or five days to grow buds.
Note: the germination rate of seeds is generally only 20-30%. If you want to improve the success rate, you can do germination before sowing.

Material selection: if it is a relatively thick branch close to the base, the success rate will be very high. If it is a twig, the success rate will be relatively low, about 20%, so unless there is no other choice, we generally will not use a twig
Specific steps: select 10 to 20 cm long cuttings, remove the upper leaves, and then leave about two or three buds, directly lying on the substrate. Keep the substrate moist and wait about 15 to 25 days for the new roots to grow.
