There are three main propagation methods of reticulopsis: ramet, cuttage and tissue culture. Among them, the cutting method is more commonly used. Select healthy branches with 3 to 4 stem nodes, remove the leaves at the bottom, and insert them into the soft and breathable culture soil. Then put it in a warm place and wait for it to take root.

Ramet propagation of reticulum

The method of ramet propagation can be used to propagate.

In fact, the method of ramet propagation is relatively simple. When the plants with vigorous growth and dense stems and leaves are removed from soil and pots, it will be found that many roots have grown on the stolon nodes. Cut these stem nodes with roots, about 10 cm above, and the cut plants can be directly transplanted into the flowerpot. Place the transplanted netted grass in a cool and ventilated place for 1-2 weeks, and maintain it normally.

Cuttage Propagation of reticulum

Nettle grass can be propagated by cutting. If the temperature allows, it can be cutted all year round. However, it is best to carry out Cuttage Propagation in the period from May to September.

On the stolon of reticulum, cut the branch about 10cm long and leave 3 to 4 stem nodes. Remove the lower leaves and only keep the upper ones. Put the inserted Cymbidium in a ventilated place, dry the wound and insert it into the seedbed. The substrate of the seedbed can be mixed with river sand and peat soil, which needs to be disinfected in advance. Keep the temperature between 24 ℃ and 30 ℃, rooting can be done in 1-2 weeks after cutting, and transplanting can be done in one month.

In order to avoid the cold damage in winter, the suitable growth temperature should be ensured. When the temperature is low, it needs to be held up by film for heat preservation. When the temperature is high, it needs to be shaded. Attention should also be paid to ensuring proper humidity and regular spraying.

Tissue culture of reticulum

Tissue culture is not a common method. Leaves are needed for tissue culture. Cut the leaves into sections and put them into the culture medium. When they grow about 30, they will grow from buds. Cut and transplant the long ones from buds, wait for their roots to grow, and then transplant and plant.
