Seed reproduction: the germination probability of Dendrobium seed is very low, and it needs artificial culture after planting. Branch propagation: select healthy and robust plants, divide them into several according to the number of stems, and plant them. Cuttage Propagation: select healthy and robust plants, grow air and root, and then transplant. High bud propagation: when a high bud becomes a small seedling, it can be cut down and planted.

1. Seed propagation

Its seeds are very small. There are about 20000 seeds in a fruit. The color is yellow and the shape is powder. Generally, they do not germinate. Only when the nutrition is abundant, the temperature and humidity are suitable, and the light condition is suitable, can the germination be possible. Although it has a lot of seeds, the probability of germination is very low.

2. Branch propagation

It should be carried out in spring or autumn, preferably at the end of March or early April before its germination. Choose the healthy and strong plants with more roots and stems, pull them out of the soil, remove the dead and yellow branches and leaves and broken technical strips, keep the roots of about 3cm, cut off the redundant roots with scissors, divide them into several trees according to the number of stems, ensure that each tree has 4 to 5 stems, and plant the separated plants.

3. Cuttage Propagation

In spring or summer, preferably in May or June. Choose three-year-old healthy and robust plants, choose full stems, leave 4 to 5 knots for each part, about 15 to 25 cm, and insert them in the river sand to ensure that the stems do not fall, and then when the buds on the stems grow out, grow air and root, they can be moved to other places for planting.

4. High bud propagation

In spring or summer, most of them are in summer. Choose plants that are three years old or more. Every year, there should be axillary buds on the stems. They can also be called high buds. They also have air to take root and can become small seedlings. When the small seedlings grow to 5-7 cm, they can be cut down for planting.
