It is an excellent potted foliage plant. From the appearance, it has long oval or oval green leaves, and irregular milky yellow spots are distributed on the leaves. From a distance, it looks like a duck's paw. Because of its warm and humid climate, it is widely distributed in the area of Nanyang islands. Later, it was introduced into China and found many kinds of breeding methods. Let's see how it breeds.

1. Common cutting method

Cuttage is generally carried out in spring. First, cut the annual branches from the top of this plant, which are eight to ten centimeters long. Then, cut off the leaves below to prevent water loss due to transpiration. Insert them on the bed soil made of river sand, control the temperature at about 25 ℃, keep the humid environment, and take root after about four to six weeks.

2. Sowing method

The best time for this method is in spring. The selected soil should have humidity. After the seeds are put in, they are covered with a thin layer of soil. Under the temperature condition of 20-25 ℃, they will sprout about two to three weeks later. When the height of the seedlings reaches 5-7 cm, they will be transplanted once and planted again in the second year.

3. All light fog insertion method

First of all, the tiles and disinfectant river sand were laid into the cutting pool in succession. Then the eight cm long shoots were selected, and the lower leaves were cut off, and the roots were rooted for twenty minutes. Secondly, the shoots were inserted into the sand in the afternoon. After spraying two to eight days to seventeen o'clock every day, the spray time was three minutes, and three or four minutes to seven or eight minutes. After five weeks, the interval is about ten minutes. After the seedlings grow strong, they can be planted separately.

4. High branch pressing method

From the end of April to June, select two-year-old branches, peel them around, about 1 cm wide, deep enough to see a green cambium, wrap the wound with damp moss or cooked dung, wrap the upper and lower ends with plastic bags, take root about 40 days later, this method has a high survival rate, and it is helpful to prune the plants in the future.
