When cultivating aloe vera, we may want to have another pot of aloe vera, and then we need to breed it. There are two methods. One is to divide the plant, break its stem base off its parent body, or peel off the small plant that grows out of its root, and then plant it in the soil. The other is to cut off its healthy leaves, sterilize them and dry them for a few days, and then insert them into the new flower soil after the wound dries.

1. Ramets

Branching is one of its propagation methods, which is more flexible in time, because it can be carried out in the whole growth period of the plant.

The specific method is to directly break off its stem base from its own mother body, or peel off the small plant growing out of its root, and then plant it into the soil. In addition, there is another way, that is to use a knife to open its seedlings and mother plants, but we don't need to pull it out, as long as it is in the original position for half a month, it can form its own root system, and then it can be directly transplanted with soil.

Another way is to peel it off and let it dry in a well ventilated place for a few days, and then implant it after the wound grows well. After that, we need water

After this operation, we need to strengthen its management, because it needs to slow down seedlings, so we need to do a few things, such as to shade it

2. Cutting

Another way is cutting. This way is mainly to make use of one of its characteristics, that is, the main stem without root and the lower end of its lateral branches will have adventitious roots. We just need to separate it, and then we can form new roots.

We need to pay attention to the cutting environment. Generally, the temperature should be kept between 25 and 28. The soil temperature is different, at least two degrees higher than the air temperature, so that the roots will grow faster. If the temperature is below 18 ℃, the long roots will be greatly affected. At the same time, we can't make the soil too wet, and it's OK to have high air humidity, generally between 80 and 90

The specific method is to cut the healthy leaves that grow well during the growing period, sterilize and dry them for a few days, and then insert them into the new flower soil after the wounds become dry. It can't be inserted too deep, just to avoid it falling down. Just after cutting, we need to shade it, and the sun needs to wait until its roots grow more.
