The container size should be in proportion to the size of planted carambola. But plastic basin or purple sand basin is a good choice
Nutrient soil should be a matrix with good permeability, moisture and fertilizer, and pH value between 6.0-6.5. You can use fertile pond mud to mix with river sand, dried chicken manure and superphosphate in the proportion of 5:3:1.9:0.1.
The planting time of carambola in the upper pot is suitable before the sprouting in March to April.
