The planting time of violet is generally from mid August to early October, but it can be adjusted according to the time spent. If you want to use flowers in May, plant them in February and in June, plant them in March. But if it is planted in July, it needs to wait for February of next year to bloom.
Violet usually propagates by seed. Select single petal flowers for seed collection, put the seeds into the moist pot soil, cover it with a layer of fine soil, and place it in the shade. Do not water immediately after planting. If the pot soil is dry, soak it in the bottom of the flowerpot, or spray water on the soil surface with a watering can. Before the true leaves are unfolded, they need to be transplanted. Pull out the seedlings, keep the soil balls on them, and do not hurt the roots. After that, add animal manure to the basin as the base fertilizer, plant the soil, pour it into the shade, and move it to the sunny position after survival.
1. Watering: sufficient watering is required at seedling stage. Water every other day to keep the soil moist. But be sure to avoid ponding, if the water is poured too much, it should be drained in time.
2. Fertilization: apply liquid fertilizer every 10 days in the seedling stage, but the amount should not be too much, which is conducive to vigorous growth and will not hurt the root.
3. Bud picking: start to pick buds two months after planting. Keep 6 or 7 leaves, then remove the top bud. Keep 3 - 4 branches on the lateral branches, and remove the others.
