Adiantum loves wet environment and is afraid of strong light. In early spring, it can be given light sooner or later. It can be placed in a room with bright scattering light.
Spring is the growth period of Adiantum. Pay attention to water and fertilizer management. Especially in the indoor maintenance, we should pay attention to increase the indoor air humidity, and the appropriate air humidity is the key to the family cultivation of Adiantum. In addition, ferrous sulfate solution can be irrigated once a month to increase the acidity of the soil, which is not only conducive to growth, but also makes its leaves green.
The growth of Adiantum is normal in summer, but the high temperature, hot and dry environment is not conducive to the growth of Adiantum. It should be placed in the bright light indoor maintenance, keep basin soil moist, sooner or later each watering once, often spray around, improve the air humidity.
Do not water and fertilize when the weather is too hot. Fertilization is usually carried out in the evening. Water the next morning after fertilization. This is more conducive to the development of fertility.
It is not suitable to be placed in front of the electric fan and air conditioner outlet. The air-conditioned room has low air humidity and should increase the frequency of spraying.
In autumn, the growth of Adiantum is normal. Pay attention to the management of water and fertilizer. After the temperature drops at the end of autumn, we should pay attention to keep the indoor temperature, gradually reduce the amount of water, make the basin soil moist, and gradually move it to the place with morning and evening light for cultivation. Stop fertilizing when the temperature is low.
Adiantum is not hardy, the room temperature should be kept above 5 ℃. When the temperature is lower than 5 ℃, the growth of Adiantum is stagnant and the leaves are dark green. It can increase the light intensity and time in the morning and evening (avoid the noon light), reduce the watering, keep the basin soil dry and do not apply fertilizer.
If the indoor temperature is high in winter, the air humidity will be low. Pay attention to supplement the air humidity.
