During the growth period, the soil should be kept in a slightly wet state, and the plants should not be allowed to grow in the environment of water shortage or ponding. In summer, the temperature is usually high, and the amount of water can be slightly increased. Water can be poured once every two days, and water can also be sprayed on the leaves. In autumn and winter, we need to change the watering frequency according to the breeding temperature. If the temperature is lower than 10 ℃, we need to water once every 4-5 days. If the temperature is higher than 10 ℃, we can water once every 3-4 days.
1. Look at the surface of basin soil: before watering, look at the surface of basin soil. If the soil is very dry, water it properly. If the soil is only a thin layer of dry, no water is needed.
2. Look at the leaf state: if the leaves of the pothos are very upright and energetic, there is no need to water them; but if they are wilting, they should be replenished with water in time.
3. Look at the degree of wetness: insert dry sticks or chopsticks into the basin soil, and take them out later to see the degree of wetness. If the stick is dry, water it immediately. If the stick becomes wet, no water is needed.
Don't water the pothos too often or not for a long time. Give it a good growth environment. When the temperature is high in summer, watering should be done in the morning or at night. Do not water in the hot noon.
