Before we learn how to water, we must understand the growth habits, so that we can know how it needs water. Dahejin likes a warm climate with smooth ventilation. It has high requirements for soil. It is generally recommended to use peat soil and granular soil with a ratio of 1:1. Such soil is not easy to accumulate water, or its roots will rot. Its growth period needs certain humidity, no matter it is air or soil, but it can't be too wet. In winter, Dahe brocade needs the least water.
From the point of view of Dahe brocade's living habits, its watering can be a little bit random and can withstand the continuous drought, but it can't bear too much water, so the principle of watering without drying or watering is to ensure that its soil is a little bit wet enough.
1. Watering method in growth period. The growth period needs a lot of water, so it can grow better. At this time, it needs to be watered once a week, but when the soil is about to be dried or half dried, it must be watered once. Must not let basin soil too wet, otherwise will affect its root development, or even rotten root!
2. Watering method in summer. In summer, the temperature is high. When watering, you need to choose in the evening to prevent the leaves of dahejin from being burned. After watering, you need to pay attention to ventilation to prevent water accumulation. When the temperature reaches more than 30 ℃, the water can be cut off basically, because Dahe brocade will be dormant because of the high temperature at this time, watering will break its growth law
3. Watering method in winter. In winter, Dahe brocade doesn't need much water. You can water it in a cool day. The amount of water can make the topsoil moist. Generally, water once or twice in the whole winter to keep the basin soil dry. When the air is particularly dry, you can choose to spray water into the surrounding air. Do not spray water on the leaves to prevent them from rotting.
