In the seedling stage, the root system of boxwood is shallower, so the amount of water should not be too much each time when watering, and it should be watered several times less to avoid affecting the growth of root system. Generally, as long as the soil surface is slightly wet, if it is not clear how much is suitable, it can be tested by hand after pouring.
If the boxwood enters the rapid growth period, the demand for water is large at this time. It must be watered frequently and thoroughly every time, but there should be no water accumulation to avoid the phenomenon of rotten roots. At the end of summer, we should start to control watering, preferably in the morning or evening, to avoid the highest temperature at noon.
