Mimosa is a tropical plant, like warm and humid growing environment, so we should always keep the basin soil moist. In summer, we should water once a day, and often spray water to plants, increase the surrounding air humidity, in winter, in order to prevent frost damage, we should reduce the amount of water.
The requirement of Mimosa on soil is not high. The general soil is OK. If we choose loose and fertile soil, Mimosa can grow better. Generally, fertilization once a month is enough, and topdressing once a half month in seedling stage. If you don't want to make the plant too large, you need to reduce the amount of fertilizer. During the growth period of Mimosa, it can be watered in combination. Every 10 days or so, it can be watered 3-4 times.
