Before pruning, we must know why we do this, otherwise the methods above may not be suitable for you. If it's not for styling, simply trim it. Cut off the bad branches, the withered ones or the sick ones, so that the healthy ones can grow better.

It can be pruned in early spring, when withered branches and weak and diseased branches can be cut off. Don't prune too much after flowering. Keep four or five plump buds in class, which can promote their new buds to come out and make the flowers bloom better the next year. In summer, the new branches of the year should be picked in time, so that the flower buds can be differentiated better.
In normal times, you can also properly add to the branches that are too dense, so that the branches left can grow stronger and healthier, and at the same time, it can increase the ventilation and light transmission capacity around, so that the surrounding environment of the branches left is better. At the same time, pay attention to the time of re cutting, because if the branches are too long and not compact enough, the shape of the whole tree will be affected, and the position of flowering will move outward year by year.

This kind of plant can't adapt to the environment with too much water. If there is too much rainfall after pruning, pay attention to the surrounding drainage. If you don't pay attention, it is likely to cause water accumulation in the soil, the root will not breathe well, the whole plant will not grow well or even the root will rot directly. Diseases and insect pests also grow in this situation. If they don't get enough sunlight, the longer and weaker their branches grow, and they can't even blossom and bear fruit as usual.
