Hongyun is propagated by fine buds. When its main plant grows large enough, its lower part will sprout fine buds from the root and leaves. When the fine buds are exposed, they will become small plants. When these small plants grow to a certain size and have two or three leaves, we can plant them separately.
When transplanting it, first use a sharp knife or garden scissors to cut the fine buds from the mother plant. The incision must be smooth, otherwise it is easy to rot. the incision can be stained with growth agent or adsorbed substances such as charcoal powder, and then replant it into a flowerpot. The soil planted should be loose, fertile and rich in organic matter.
