1. Pot soil: it is better to use purple sand pot for cultivating four seasons orchid pot. You can put some small stones and broken tiles on the bottom. Use loose and strong drainage soil, which is conducive to its growth.
2. Watering: don't over water it. A large amount of watering will easily lead to rotten roots. Generally, watering once every 2-3 days is enough. In winter, it's better to do it at noon. In summer, it's better to choose morning or evening instead of noon in summer.
3. Light: Four Seasons orchid likes sunshine, so we should give it enough sunlight. If the light is not enough, it will grow slowly, and its leaves will become slender. If it is cultured outdoors in summer, it should be properly shaded.
Branch propagation: generally, it will be carried out in spring and autumn. Healthy plants without disease and long should be used. When splitting, each cluster should have 5 pseudobulbous. After potting, they should be watered and put in the shade for about half a month. Then they can be maintained normally.
Common diseases and insect pests include anthrax, black spot and scale insect. After discovering that plants are harmed by diseases and insect pests, spray with carbendazim or Omethoate emulsion in time. In addition, disinfect the soil to avoid secondary infection.
