Lavender is suitable for slightly alkaline sandy soil with good drainage performance. It can be mixed with pearl stone, vermiculite and peat moss. It can be planted with a little slow-release fertilizer, but not too much.
Don't pour too much water on lavender, there should be no water in the basin. If you pour too much water, it will cause rotten roots. Before watering, you can see the dryness of the soil. The surface of the soil is slightly dry and the interior is slightly wet. This is the best time to water. When watering, we should avoid sunlight, water should not be splashed on the leaves, it is easy to breed pests or even rot.
Lavender needs enough light. If it can receive the best light in the whole day, it can also grow in half day, but it has less flowering. In summer, when the light is strong, it is necessary to properly shade and strengthen indoor ventilation. When the temperature is low in winter, it is better to receive all day light. In a long-term humid environment, it will not be able to breathe normally, which will affect normal growth, and even lead to death.
The temperature suitable for lavender growth is 15-25 ℃, 5-30 ℃ can also grow, the maximum temperature should not exceed 35 ℃, if the environment is in high temperature for a long time, it will turn yellow, if the temperature in winter is lower than 0 ℃, it will enter a dormant state.
