1. Soil: it is better to use loose, permeable and well drained sandy loam for cultivation ground covered with carnation. If it is planted in the ground, it needs to be planted at a lower water level.
2. Water content: it does not have high requirements for water content. As long as it is not too dry, it can grow normally. Usually, it does not need to be watered. But in the rainy season, it needs to be drained in time, otherwise it may be waterlogged.
3. Fertilization: before planting, it is necessary to apply base fertilizer in the soil. After that, if it grows normally, it doesn't need to be fertilized.
Cutting method is mainly used in the propagation of ground cover carnation. Select healthy branches with good growth from the plant, cut them into 10 cm long, and then insert them into the culture soil, watering and moisturizing. About half a month, it can take root.
If there are seeds, you can also use sowing method for propagation.
