In autumn, carnations need to be placed indoors at 9 ℃ or above, where there is enough light to feed, and timely fertilization to provide nutrients for it. If you have seeds on hand, it's best to plant them. Because the temperature is about 20 ℃, it is suitable for germination.

1. Keep the temperature

Carnation has certain cold resistance, but it is not strong. If the temperature is lower than 9 ℃, it may affect its growth. In some northern areas, the temperature in autumn is relatively low, so it needs to be put back to indoor maintenance in time, so as to avoid freezing it out of the cold.

2. Increase the light

It prefers light and needs enough sunlight for its growth. In autumn, the light is not very strong, so it is best to keep it in the balcony and other bright places to ensure that it can grow healthily.

3. Proper fertilization

Autumn is when its flowers just wither, when the plant will enter a weaker state. So we need to put some flower fertilizer on it properly to provide it with nutrients and help it recover from this weak state.

4. Sowing

For some flower friends who have seeds on hand, it's best to plant the seeds at this time. Because the temperature is about 20 ℃, it is suitable for germination. To be specific, prepare some flower soil with good air permeability and put it into the flowerpot, then sprinkle the seeds gently on the soil surface and cover it with a thin layer of soil. After that, move the flowerpot to the place where the light is weak and water it in time to keep the flowerpot slightly wet. Soon it will sprout.
