The most suitable temperature for the growth of Money Tree is 20 ℃ ~ 30 ℃, and the temperature in winter should be controlled above 5 ℃, otherwise frost damage will occur. In the winter, the temperature is controlled above 15 ℃, and the sunshine is sufficient, so the wealth can continue to grow. If the room temperature is lower than 8 ℃, and the environment is too wet or dry, the leaves will appear water spots, first showing bronze color, then gradually falling off. If the temperature is lower than 5 ℃, the leaves will all fall off or even die.
Therefore, in the middle of November, the potted Money Tree will be moved indoors for winter, and the next year's rain (in the middle of April) will be moved outdoors.
The requirement for water is not very strict. The trees can grow normally if they are flooded or not watered for 10 days. But the amount of water should be controlled timely in winter. The basin soil should not be wet, but should be slightly damp, otherwise, the leaf tip will be scorched easily, or even the leaves will fall off.
Generally, the room temperature is controlled between 12 ~ 18 ℃, and water once a month.
Money Tree grow well in the whole sunshine environment, with short leaf nodes, wide leaves, thick green leaves, and large and strong stem base. If it grows in weak light for a long time, the branches are thin, the petioles are drooping, and the leaves become light green. However, it is not easy to get full sunlight in winter. After the winter, when it is transferred from indoor to outdoor, it is necessary to gradually adapt to the lighting process to avoid the phenomenon of leaf sunburn.
The best way is to move the basin out of the room at noon on a sunny day in late March next year. It starts to see sunshine for 1-2 hours every day, and then gradually extends the sunshine time until full sunshine management is restored.
In winter, Money Tree should be moved to indoor for maintenance to avoid smoke damage. Smoking will make the leaves yellow and reduce the ornamental value. Therefore, try not to put the plant at the smoke outlet or air conditioner outlet.
If the trees are not properly maintained, they are prone to frost damage. In winter or early spring, the temperature drops suddenly, and the leaves and roots are easily frostbitten. Once the frost damage occurs, it needs to be remedied in time.
First, move the plant to a warm place.
Check the degree of frost damage. If only the leaves are damaged, spray the leaves with the solution of butyl naphthylacetate and gibberellin, and fill the roots with the agent such as naphthylacetic acid. Once every 3 days, after the tender leaves grow out, it will be changed to once every 7 days, generally 5-6 times to recover.
When it was found that the roots were damaged, the plants could be infused with 200 times of ethyl manganese wettable powder with a concentration of 70%, and then put in a warm and dry place to restore growth.
