The most suitable time for planting hawthorn is March to April, when the temperature rises a little in spring. In this period of time, the climate is relatively suitable, and the seedlings planted are relatively easy to survive. In addition, if it's planted outdoors, it's better to plant it on the second or third day after rain, so as to improve its survival rate.
1. Treatment of seedlings: select some seedlings with healthy roots and no diseased leaves, take them out of the old soil, and cut off some side branches and small roots with scissors. Then put them in the disinfected water for disinfecting
2. Land preparation and fertilization: select a place with soft soil and good light conditions as the planting site. 7-10 days before planting, turn over the flower soil here and apply some basic fertilizer to it.
3. Digging planting pits: on the selected planting sites, dig some planting pits according to the plant row spacing of 3M. The depth of the pit depends on the age of the seedlings purchased. If the seedling is small and the root system is not very developed, it can be dug shallower. On the contrary, we can dig deeper
4. Planting: take out the seedlings and put them gently into the planting pit. Then fill the pit with the surrounding flower soil, and lightly step on the soil surface with your feet to compact the soil. Then, water it once and cure it slowly.
