Many people choose potted plants for flower cultivation. You know some plants can also be potted. Bottling is not hydroponics, but putting plants in relatively closed glass bottles. The most common bottle plant is Adiantum, the following small series for you to introduce the method of bottle cultivation.

Bottle selection of Adiantum

The best choice for bottle fern is colorless, transparent, square glass bottle with flat surface, so that the plant will not be deformed and more beautiful.

Usually, peat and fine sand are mixed to be used as culture medium and put into bottle. But before you can put some old wall ash in the bottle, which is more conducive to the growth of Adiantum. The soil in the bottle should be placed 2-3cm thick. Be careful not to spill the soil on the bottle.

Selection of Adiantum

The bottle is smaller, and the young plant with smaller plant type is usually selected. Save space and shape easily.

The mother plant of Adiantum is divided into several clusters with a knife, and the plants are clamped into bottles with chopsticks.

The bottle planting method of Adiantum

First, spread 2-3cm of prepared soil on the bottle seeds, gently shake the bottle body to make the soil smooth, and then compact the soil with bamboo sticks.

Use tweezers or chopsticks to put the plant into the bottle, and then support and plant it.

If the incubator or fish tank is used, decorations can be placed on the bottle according to the requirements, and various ups and downs can be piled up. Finally, the bottle mouth is covered, so that a miniature greenhouse landscape can be formed, which is the so-called "bottle garden" viewing.

Conservation of Adiantum after bottle planting

After planting, water properly, adhere to the principle of a few times, and slowly flow water along the bottle wall to make the bottle soil moist.

The smaller bottle should be plugged with cork. If it looks like a larger fish tank, it must be sealed tightly. Then put the bottle in a bright place with scattered light for maintenance. If the light is dark, install a 60W light bulb on the bottle cap, and wear a beautiful lampshade to promote the growth of plants.

After a short time, the bottle fern will form a humid microclimate in the bottle. The leaves will evaporate water, condense on the bottle wall, and gradually flow down the bottle wall, providing the root of the plant to breathe, forming a circulation in the bottle. However, if it is found that there will be fog in the bottle sooner or later, and it lasts for more than 1 hour, it means that the humidity in the bottle is too high, so it is necessary to open the bottle cap in time for ventilation; if there is no water drop on the bottle wall for a long time, it means that there is lack of water inside, and a small amount of water needs to be poured along the bottle wall.
