Xiuyan's flowering period is from June to August. The flowers are small, red or purple, but few people have seen Xiuyan bloom.
Xiuyan is not so hard to raise. It's easy to group. Generally in spring and autumn and winter are its growth periods. In these growth periods, we need to keep the plant under sufficient light so as to ensure that the plant can grow more compact package, and also can make the color of the plant leaves deeper. But if the light is insufficient, it will cause the leaf center of the plant to be green.
In terms of watering, we can fully water the plant during the above growth period. Generally, if the soil is dry, we can water it thoroughly. If it's in the south, maybe two or three times a month, as long as we follow the principle of "dry through pouring".
In summer, if the temperature is more than 30 degrees, you can control the watering properly, and you should properly shade and do a good job in ventilation. Choose loose soil as the substrate, like coconut bran.
For reproduction, we usually choose the way of beheading for reproduction, while leaf cuttings are not suitable for Xiuyan reproduction.
