Chequered grassland is produced in America. It has small foliage index and likes warm and wet environment. It needs to be kept warm in winter. Netted grass is one of the plants that are easy to be cultivated indoors, because its leaves are light and elegant in color and full of woven network veins.
There are many varieties of netting grass, such as small white netting grass, red netting grass, etc. Among all the varieties, the most common is white netted grass. Looking at the white netted grass, the leaves are full of villi, the square stem villi are more obvious, with oval leaves, the plant is low, and it is creeping under the condition of vigorous growth.
It is very easy to grow adventitious roots on the branches of the nettle grass, which is excellent for cutting. Pick a few branches from the outside or from a friend's house to make a basin of cuttings. The best cutting time is spring and autumn.
First of all, we should choose a strong mother plant, not any one can. The best way to choose a mesh grass is to lay its branches on the ground.
Then select the branches with terminal buds, about 5cm in length and 3-5 stem nodes, and cut off the leaves of the stem branches inserted into the soil, or cut off half of the leaves, so as to reduce the consumption of nutrients.
The prepared branches are cutted in a flowerpot, and 8-10 cuttings are needed for a flowerpot of about 10 cm, and then small pots are cultivated.
After cutting, put it in a cool and ventilated place, give proper light, it can take root for 2-3 weeks. When the leaves gradually revived and grew small tender leaves, a small amount of slow-release fertilizer was applied, and appropriate pruning and coring were carried out. If you know enough sunshine and nutrients, you can make cuttings grow rapidly.
The growth of reticulum needs sufficient sunshine, otherwise, the stem and leaf are easy to grow in vain and lose the ornamental value. Once the net grass grows in vain, it is difficult to recover. It can be said that it is ugly!
In addition, the netted grass is afraid of cold, the temperature is too low, and leaves are easy to appear. It's not easy to cut in spring and autumn. Don't catch blind in winter.
