Cactus cutting time is very casual, spring, summer and autumn can be three seasons. If the indoor temperature is suitable, cutting can be carried out in winter. But to avoid cutting in the rainy season, the humid environment is not conducive to its survival.
Cactus for soil requirements are not high, can be used with good drainage of river sand. Soil viscosity is too high, which is harmful to its rooting and respiration. If you want to grow faster and better, you can use nutritious soil and add appropriate perlite. Disinfect the soil before use to avoid adverse effects on rooting.
Select 10 cm tall, plump old leaves. The leaves are too small and tender to take root, which will affect the survival rate of cutting. Don't plant the leaves immediately after cutting. It needs to be dried for about 7 days first, and then cut after the incision shrinks, otherwise it will easily rot. Insert the leaves 3 cm into the soil. The sandy soil doesn't need to be pressed too hard or watered immediately.
Cactus in slow seedling stage need to be placed in a well ventilated place and given a certain amount of light at the same time. When a new leaf grows at the top, try to lift the plant. If it doesn't move, it means it has taken root. Root immediately after watering, but to control the amount of water, do not produce water.
