Purslane is a perennial herbaceous plant, and it is most suitable to adopt top bud cutting method.
Select the branch with top bud, 3-5 nodes and length of about 5cm as cuttings. The selected branch has no diseases and insect pests. After the leaves are finished, it is better to have annual branches, so the branches will grow faster after cutting.
Before cutting, prune the branches, cut all the leaves of the stems inserted into the soil, and keep 3-4 leaves at the top of the branches.
Pick the fresh branches and do not dry them. Cut them directly in the prepared flowerpot. According to the size of the flowerpot, cut 5-8 branches in each pot to ensure that the branches have a certain growth distance and look compact and beautiful as a whole.
