A bunch of red cuttings should select healthy branches from healthy mother plants as cuttings. The branches should have about two internodes with a length of about 5-10 cm.
The best substrate is coarse river sand or vermiculite. If the condition is limited, sandy soil can also be used.
1. First, remove the leaves at the base of the cuttings, only keep the upper leaves, and cut them into a 45 ° slope with a knife about 3.5cm.
2. Disinfect the substrate with disinfectant before cutting.
3. When cutting, first make a hole in the substrate with a stick to facilitate the insertion of cuttings, and then insert the cuttings into about half of the substrate.
4. After cutting, water the cuttings and move them to a cool place. After rooting, they can be transplanted to a pot.
To water in time, make sure the plants are in the shade.
