If you don't prune it, put it into a new basin. It may lose its leaves and even won't grow new branches for a long time, because its root system is damaged when replacing the new basin.
3. Prepare the basin with holes at the bottom, cover the holes with gauze mesh, or lay some thick pebbles on it to avoid the holes being blocked by soil when watering it. This can help drainage, will not lead to rotten roots, but also can let the air in the basin update more quickly, convenient root breathing
4. Pour one third of the soil into the basin, preferably the mixture of culture soil and common garden soil, plus a little nitrogen fertilizer, to help the growth of leaves. Put the pruned plant in, preferably with a gap of two or three centimeters from the edge of the basin. Then use the organic soil to fill the gap, and finally pour the water into it once and for all, and the whole basin will be replaced.
